SAS DATA Museum
Project
Introduction
We are 86 former IT experts now
retired and members of SAS DATA's Senior Club.
We have had the pleasure to construct, develop and maintain SAS DATA's
networks and computers from the humble start.
February 2004 our executive
committee decided to establish a project with the aim to make proposals for
establishing a Data Museum.
Helge Grimstad was asked to become Project Leader and headed the project
group with following members :
Børge Lundsgaard, Niels Vermundsen, Verny Falkeborg, Viktor J. Madsen, Bent
Beltoft, Leif Alenius and Helge Grimstad.
The task was to establish alternatives for future premises for location of
material worthy of preservation from the development af SAS' and the Airline
Industry's use of IT/EDP Electronic Data Processing (Hardware and Software)
from 1957 to 2003.
