SAS DATA Museum Project

Project Status

OCT2005:
The planned Homepage has been on the net for a while. A continious process to improve it is still going on.There are many things we need to make our collection presentable for the public. These things are not free, and our club kan offer a linited budget. Therefore we are now investigating if economical support is possible from elswhere.

MAY2005:
We have got a room at our disposal by CSC (The new owner of our old company). We have taken all Wall Pictures and all equipment possible for this room and made a Show Room.  This will enable us to show the interested parts what we have and how it looks. A Homepage is being developed.

FEB2005:
The project group have decided to base the planned exhibition on the 12 Wall Pictures we have. We are now investigating if CSC will let a room be at our disposal for this exhibition.

FEB2005:
12 Wall Pictures have been reproduced, 2 samples of each. Also a big collage has been scanned and produced as two Wall Pictures.

SEP2004:
We have had meetings with
Denmark Technical Museum (DTM) and The  SAS-Museum at gardermoen. They showe interst for our collection, and we agreed to revert with a proposal for an exhibition.

FEB2004:
All devices in our collection have now been registered and put into an Excel Worksheet showing Functionality, product, type, name, "year of birth" and storage location.
